MDIS College

About the School

Established in February 2006, MDIS College Pte Ltd is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Management Development Institute of Singapore (MDIS) that offers Preparatory Courses for the Singapore-Cambridge General Certificate of Education (Advanced and Ordinary Levels) and Cambridge IGCSE (International General Certificate of Secondary Education) to students aged 13 to 18. The college is also registered with the Committee for Private Education (CPE).

MDIS College not only emphasises on teaching excellence but also on recreational activities. Dedicated staff and well-equipped facilities create a caring and conducive environment where learning takes place inside and outside the classroom. The college believe that such activities help students experience an enriching student lifestyle in addition to a high quality education.

The success of MDIS College's students is due to the school's strong commitment to high quality standards of education. The achievement of the 4-year EduTrust Certification, awarded by CPE in 2014, is a milestone for MDIS College as it attests to the College's exemplary education and business excellence standards.

MDIS College firmly believes in delivering a holistic education for the youth of tomorrow. In recent years, the college has deliberately undertaken to enhance its academic processes in order to drive academic excellence and achieve more desirable positive student learning outcomes. As such, all personnel including Teaching Associates have a much clearer perspective in implementing new pragmatic changes and contributing to constructive feedback.

Closer ties have been established with parents through consistent follow-ups and updates on their child's progress through phone calls and emails. Orientation sessions have also garnered positive feedback from parents and guardians who have shown a willingness to work together to improve their child's academic performance and well-being. Parent-Teacher meetings have provided opportunities for parents and teachers to discuss academic grades and scores, hear students' hopes and aspirations, as well as identify students' areas of strengths and weaknesses and how best to support them in their studies.
